Good news to my fellow Bayantel Dsl Subscribers. If you are a subscriber of Plan 384Kbps just like me, just call 411-2000 or email to upgrade your plan to Plan 768Kbps. This is for free! Your monthly payment will still be the same.

Here are the BayanDSL New Speed Upgrade: (comes with Phoneline)

768kbps @ Php1199/month
1280kbps @ Php1999/month
2560kbps @ Php2999/month

are you still getting that speed? me from .76mbps drop to old .36 mbps, T_T

The bandwidth is still way too far behind if we have to compare with other asian countries. in other countries, the minimum bandwidth for the same value of P1,000 a month is 2Mbps up. In japan, a bandwidth of 15Mbps download/ 11Mbps upload will only roughly costs around P3,000 monthly.
